Welcome to the Stamford BGS Program

Congratulations on your decision to complete your undergraduate degree. The Bachelor of General Studies program (BGS) offers a unique curriculum for returning adult students, whereby you can pursue your degree, without having to start over.

Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality education, advising and supportive services to reach your goal.

We are now taking transfer student applications for new BGS students. Applicants for the Fall, 2010 semester can apply until Aug. 15th.  International students need to apply by July 15th.

If you have completed 60 Credits or an associate’s degree, from an accredited university or college, you are invited to participate in the University of Connecticut’s Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) Program.

The information session provides an overview of the Bachelor of General Studies Degree Program.  Requirements and applications will be discussed and a question and answer session will follow.

Interested persons are encouraged to attend prior to meeting with a BGS Counselor.
